Mode Cards
Set of 78 Mode Cards, extremely useful in psychotherapy sessions, to discover and explore different parts of their fascinating and complex inner world. The design style started from the idea of being simple, without specific elements of gender, age or culture. They can be used for case conceptualization and implementing Schema Therapy protocol, but given their versatility and diversity, they can be used creatively in any therapeutic protocol for adults, children and adolescents and groups.
There are 78 cards designed around the central concepts of emotional needs and modes used in the Schema Therapy model. There are cards for: Emotional Needs, Child Modes, Dysfunctional Parental Modes (Inner Critics), Dysfunctional Coping Modes and Functional Modes (Happy Child Mode, Wise Mode) and some additional cards for survival Defence Responses (useful in trauma work).
The element of novelty and creativity lies in the integration of the new Wise Mode Model from Schema Therapy, that includes 12 cards with the skills and competencies children and adolescents need to develop (the Wise and Competent Mode Helpers).
