Validating the Group schema therapy protocol for children based on a new model of Wise and Competent Mode
The aim of the project is to design and validate a Group Schema Therapy protocol for children and adolescents, which emphasizes the development of Wise and Competent Mode (the precursor to the Healthy Adult Mode). The effectiveness of the protocol will be supported by the increase of the emotional competences and functional coping strategies and the decrease of the anxiety level and of the dysfunctional coping strategies. The project began in 2024 in partnership with the Mitropolit Varlaam High School, Iasi, where the pilot study was conducted on the 10-12 year old age group.
