Within the association, our research interests in the field of cognitive sciences focus on what matters most in practice: what works, for whom, and under what conditions. We are interested with evaluating, through rigorous clinical studies, the effectiveness of psychotherapeutic intervention techniques in various psychological difficulties and disorders. At the same time, we aim to develop and test protocols based on cognitive models, with an emphasis on prevention and early intervention in mental health. Beyond the results, we are interested in the mechanisms through which change occurs – to contribute to interventions that are clearer, more effective and better adapted to real people, not just theories.
